Who can tell me what the reason for this horror is?
Why can’t we just finish the story of this war

Why the madness has become a life
It could change so why don’t we try
Hate's replacing the love we’ve felt before
I can't take the reason for this war

It growing in our hearts and gorging our souls
The feel of hate and rage
Has taken control
Another man with a gun
Is prowling alone in the maze of the streets
His family lost and gone

From the seeds of pain only grow the trees of hatred

Blood is red, no matter who we are
We are one, no matter how far we are

And will stop this bloodshed trail

The absolute pinnacle of modern British progressive rock. The loss of David Longdon is a huge blow, but this band has the talent to carry on. This album was my introduction to them and is so melodic and memorable to be so intricately arranged and performed. scarroll007
