The Gates of Never

The Gates Of Never
I feel some pain inside my soul
Last night I had a dream
I saw no one to catch my fall
It makes me wanna scream
The things I saw are scaring me
And tearing my soul apart
What have we done, as far as I can see
The theatre’s playing the very last part
Program’s failed, it’s coming
No one hears the warnings
Suicide – is what we’ve got.. at last
So look into the past
If we could turn back the time
What could happen another way?
We’re standing before the last thin line
We have to make our desicion someday
All that we have is what we’ve done
They call it “progress” in their headlines
But something important is lost and gone
All that always helped us to be wise
We’re taking lives without regrets
And there are no bad dreams
So what are we doing with ourselves?
So-called “humanity”
Blood is the price for living
Can it be forgiven?
To lose the faith – is what we all deserve... at last
I look into the past
If we could turn back the time
What could happen another way?
We’re standing before the last thin line
And we must make our desicion today
War! Tell me what did you start it for?
Tell me, what did you wait for before?
Tell me why did you open that box
Of Pandora?
Pray! Do you see what you’ve brought here today?
Don’t you see – there’s another way
Can you feel the stink of decay?
You, morrah!
Don’t you see how the darkness eats you from inside?
Hate is the only thing you can create
When you try to control our fate
All we have is the world at the gates
Of never
Fear! I can see it now perfectly clear
That we are at the edge; so near
That we suddenly can disappear
Forever

Don’t Look Back
So many superstitions
Bring us to the loss of faith
Endless premonition
Of something that we are afraid of, something we hate
Useless simulation
Of feelings that we haven’t got
So it has nothing to do with the things
The meaning of which we forgot
Tell me what’s on your mind
And I’ll do my best to take your fears away
To take ’em all away
Don’t look back at things that you have done
But mind you always have to pay
For all of your mistakes
Now remember there is
No easy way to get a place under the sun
All the weight you carry
Is printed on you face, so you can’t run
From your own reflection
‘Cause there’s no exit door
Choose the right direction
Otherwise you will be torn
Don’t look back into your past
Don’t try so hard ’cause you’re not the last
One who’s broken all the rules
And turned away from the wrong way
You’ve been misunderstood
And have not known what’s bad and what’s good
Now you’ve got your own view
So make a change
Get something new
And rearrange
All you knew
Tell what’s on your mind
And I will take all of your fears away
Don’t look back at things you’ve done
But know you always have to pay
Seems there’s nothing fair in life
All we have is disappointment and pain
I keep trying to realize
Why the world is so insane
Shepherds are playing strings of lies
And sheep are listening with the widely opened eyes
And this pointless symphony
Brings ‘em hope but not to me

Memories
I remember when I was born
I was free like a bird enjoying the storm
Every door was open to me
Every path was leading me to my dreams
There was no answer I couldn't find
And no need to disguise and hide
Living from day to day only having fun
All the doubts and fears were so far
Never in need to turn the calendar
Only mirror could show that the time ran
There is one way to live my life
And I’m taking my way through night and day
To reach the horizon line
Nothing more’s left here to make me stay
Where’s that boy that I used to be?
Now I’m different but I can see
That he’s living inside me and makes me stand tall
Every moment in life was joy
And it seems I’ll never be that boy
But my memory of him doesn’t let me fall
Where’s that boy that I used to be?
Now I’m different but I can see
That he’s living inside me and makes me stand tall
Every moment in life was joy
And it seems I’ll never be that boy
But my memory of him doesn’t let me fall
But my memory of him doesn’t let me fall
Only memories of him...

Question
When the world’s so close to the rim
Does it see the light beyond the edge?
Could it stop the violent stream
Of the golden-technology age?
Why are we so afraid of death
When most of all in life we want to die?
What if I had such big eyes
That I could see the farthest star in the Universe?
Then I would close ’em
Never to see (so as not to see) how this world is getting worse
What are we trying to prove today?
What’s the point of so-called progress?
Don’t you see how the world of grey
Slowly steps into the darkness?
Why are we so afraid of death
When all we do is hurry up to die?
Seems there’s nothing fair in life
All we have is disappointment and pain
I keep trying to analyze
Why the world is so insane

No Reason for This War

No Reason for This War
Another day gone by
Another land has been washed by the blood
Another mother's crying
Upon her dead son
The endless doubts and fears
Make us expect something bad everyday
And all women's tears
Will never change that
Who can tell me what the reason for this horror is?
Why can’t we just finish the story of this war
Why the madness has become a life
It could change so why don’t we try
Hate's replacing the love we’ve felt before
I can't take the reason for this war
I see some emptiness
It growing in our hearts and gorging our souls
The feel of hate and rage
Has taken control
Another man with a gun
Is prowling alone in the maze of the streets
His family lost and gone
And now his heart bleeds
From the seeds of pain only grow the trees of hatred
From the ruined soul it is hard to get the seeds of love
Blood is red, no matter who we are
We are one, no matter how far we are
I believe, the mercy will prevail
And will stop this bloodshed trail
Сan you tell me what the reason for this horror is?
Why can’t we just finish the story of this war
When the sun turns its face to the earth
We will see - we're digging in the dirt
Life is a gift, why can't we understand
I want to believe that it's not the end

Strange Feeling Called Love
No one knows just when it all began…
No one knows just when it all began
A strange and strongest feeling has regained
The heart of every man
The air has never been so fresh
And human pride has just been smashed
And one day he woke up
To find himself as alive
As never before
It never needed reason for believing
And so turned into all he has to give
Someone that he’s living for
He felt it every night and day
And couldn’t find a word to say
About the way he felt like
He is high in the sky
Flying so high
Spending every moment as if it were the last
Facing days with hearts that opened wide
Longing for discovering ways to feel and understand
The power of the light that shines inside
They were walking all night long and counting stars
The inner life that seemed to be so far
Was leading them through the flow of time
But once they had to understand
That love was more than words to say
And probably it was the highest price to pay
For all mistakes
Dreaming of the perfect future never knowing lies before
Creating the world where they could be as one
All they wanted was to be together nothing more
But the thing they were afraid of made all wrong
The opened world was so unknown
And in time they saw that love is worth fighting for
She never wanted to turn into stone
She just wanted one who’d catch her when she falls
And all he needs is feel the sun
Even when the pouring rain falls deep down inside
To fill the emptiness in hearts
Make an ocean from the teardrops that she cried
Strange feeling called Love
Like a gift from above
Will keep us alive till the end of time
Till the end of time
A gift from above
Strange feeling called Love
No one knows just when it all began…
Spending every moment as if it were the last
Facing days with hearts that opened wide
Longing for discovering ways to feel and understand
The power of the light that shines inside
